Quarantine Garden

Title

Quarantine Garden

Description

The photo shows a cardboard egg carton, each cell numbered and filled with potting soil, sitting in a sunny windowsill. A sheet of lined paper is stuck in the back of it. The paper is a key, each cell 1-12 labelled with the type of seed it holds: peas, beets, chives/garlic, cilantro, lettuce, green onion, mint, pepper, and rosemary. These are seeds my house is sprouting before we plant them in the garden. In quarantine, we have had more time for gardening, and although we are really lucky to have regular grocery access, we're also looking forward to having fresh produce in our backyard.
