Hello everyone,

We hope that you are safe and doing as well as the circumstances permit. Since we are all remaining home for the foreseeable future, we would like to offer one possible activity for you— sewing cloth face masks. Since the CDC is recommending face coverings in public settings but medical-grade masks remain in short supply for healthcare workers, a cloth mask is a good alternative. There are lots of youtube tutorials and patterns online.

Here are some useful links:

Many local hospitals are looking for mask donations. They are likely to share the pattern that they would like to see used. If you want to donate, check the needs of your hospital.

You are welcome to find whatever suits you best. Most patterns require minimal sewing and can be done without a sewing machine. You can email us with any questions you might have.

Please stay safe. We look forward to seeing you again.
