A day on the Allegheny
Title
A day on the Allegheny
Description
This is an image taken early July from Pittsburgh's north shore. Normally the river is packed in the summer and this is a stark contrast from the singular jetski in this image. Over the course of summer racial injustices gradually became much more of a topic of conversation than previously in Pittsburgh. The art work begins with Antwon Rose's face on the far left. Antwon was a Pittsburgh native teen killed by Pittsburgh Police in the summer of 2018. The last image is of Breanna Taylor on the far right.
