I, along with Macalester President Suzanne Rivera, and 46 other members of the Saint Paul Community was appointed to Saint Paul's Community First Public Safety Commission by Mayor Melvin Carter. The group was convened to study and create recommendations to the city on police reform. This piece serves as my reflection on the work we embarked on this year as it comes to a close.
