This essay was created for Professor Lesley Lavery's POLI 204 US Metro and City Politics class this module. In the attached paper, I talk about the early days of COVID, and how Denver responded by proactively implementing policies. I encountered an interesting trend where the Denver mayor would announce policies, and then the governor would implement similar policies just days later. I attribute Denver's success in responding to the pandemic because of both the mayor's proactiveness, and also the support from the state government. The body of this essay is 5 pages long.
